Terms and Conditions
Effective 30 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Lagnever Technologies Private Limited (“we”, “us”), the operator of AppCub, covering your use of the AppCub app and the website appcub.in (together, “AppCub”). By creating an account or using AppCub, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use AppCub.
1. What AppCub does
AppCub is an AI coding service. You describe an app in a chat; an AI agent proposes a plan, writes the app’s code once you approve it, shows a live preview, and builds Android files (APK for installing, AAB for Google Play). You can then ask for changes.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract.
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person per account. Don’t share or sell accounts.
3. Plans and payments
- AppCub has a Free plan (a one-time allowance to try it) and paid plans (Starter, Pro, Business), billed monthly or yearly. Plans and prices are shown in Indian rupees for customers in India and in US dollars elsewhere, including applicable taxes such as GST, on appcub.in before you pay.
- Each plan includes a number of app builds (building a new app from an approved plan) and changes (finished edits to an app) per month. You only use one when the work finishes successfully: attempts that fail or are rolled back are free, and so are planning, questions and one fix after each change. Building APK and AAB files is included within fair daily limits.
- Unused monthly allowance carries over to the next month only. Extra app builds or changes bought as top-ups are valid for 12 months.
- Trial: monthly plans can start with a paid trial (currently ₹99 in India or US$1 elsewhere, for 2 days, with 1 app build and 3 changes). When you start it, you set up autopay for the plan you chose; at the end of the trial the plan’s monthly price is charged automatically, unless you cancel before then. One trial per person. The trial fee itself isn’t refundable.
- Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You’ll get a notice before each renewal charge, as Indian payment rules require. You can cancel at any time; you keep your plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then move to the Free plan.
- Plans and top-ups are bought on our website. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we don’t see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- Allowances have no cash value and can’t be transferred.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- We may change prices or plan allowances. For an existing plan, changes apply from your next renewal after we’ve told you, and you can cancel before then.
4. Your content and your apps
- You own your apps. Your ideas, messages, and the code and files AppCub generates for your projects belong to you, as far as the law allows. You can download your code and build files and use them without AppCub.
- You give us permission to store, process and send your content to our service providers (such as Google Cloud Vertex AI) only as needed to run AppCub for you. This permission ends when you delete your content or account, except for backups and records described in the Privacy Policy.
- You confirm you have the rights to anything you give us, such as logos, names, images and text.
5. Signing keys
For each app, AppCub creates an Android signing key and keeps it securely so your updates can be published with the same key. On request we’ll give you a copy of your app’s key. If you publish on Google Play, we recommend using Google Play App Signing.
6. AI output and publishing
- AI-generated code and content can contain mistakes, security issues or text similar to existing material. Review and test your app before you publish or share it.
- You are the developer and publisher of apps you make with AppCub. You’re responsible for their content, for complying with the law and with store policies (such as Google Play’s Developer Program Policies), and for your own app’s privacy policy and user data.
- AppCub does not guarantee that an app will be approved by Google Play or any other store.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t use AppCub to create or distribute anything that:
- is illegal, or promotes violence, terrorism, child sexual abuse material, or hate;
- is malware, spyware or stalkerware, collects data without consent, or is meant for phishing, fraud, scams or impersonation;
- infringes someone else’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- involves gambling, weapons, drugs or other regulated activities without the required licences;
- tries to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around AppCub’s security, sandbox, limits or billing.
We may refuse, stop or remove projects that break these rules, and suspend or close accounts that repeatedly or seriously break them.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep AppCub available and reliable, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, add or remove features. If we discontinue AppCub, we’ll give you reasonable notice and a way to download your projects, and refund the unused part of any paid plan or top-up.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using AppCub and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or the law, or to protect other users; where reasonable, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to download your projects.
10. Liability
- To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or data, or losses from apps you publish, including store rejections or removals.
- Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 6 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under Indian law.
11. Indemnity
If a third party makes a claim against us because of your content, your apps or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that result.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first; most issues can be solved quickly. If a dispute can’t be resolved, the courts at Rajouri, India will have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll post changes here and update the date above; for significant changes we’ll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use AppCub after that means you accept the new terms.
